Premam Telugu Movie Review

Well Every one today is eagerly waiting for the most anticipated movie of the Year Akkineni Naga Chaitanya Aka Chaitu’s Premam. Most of us watched the Mallu Superhit “Premam”,where irrespective of the Language, even our Telugu Boys had liked it,and especially the Malar Character Portrayed by Debutant Sai Pallavi, had robbed our hearts isn’t it?

That was fine,so how did they remake the Premam’s Telugu Version, did Chaitu Performed as good as Nivin Paule in the Original or even he did better? How about the Malar remaked here by Shruti Hassan? On a whole did the Movie created the same magic as done in Mallu Version? Too Many Questions Right??? Lets go into the story.

The Story is about An Ordinary Middle Class Guy Vikram(Naga Chaitanya),where he starts his love life in Teens,by falling in love with Suma(Anupama Parameshwaran) and ends in tragedy, while he falls in love again with his lecturer “Sithara(Shruti Hassan)” during his Engineering Days, and again faces a failure. Well after 10 Years he meets another girl Sindhu(Madonna Sebastian) almost half of his age,and falls in love again, however she is already engaged to some one,So Does vikram manages to make even this 3rd Love Success forms the rest of story…

There is nothing much to say about the story, just the feelings,as the makers had already included a Quote “Love Stories Die,Feelings Not” forms the theme of the story. While the first half is completely engaging where a Teenager Vikram keep on trying for his village beauty Suma, and ends up in helping her to meet her BF.The College Sequences had enough fun in it.However second half seems to be running on a slow phase, where after the 2nd Love Failure, there enters the Sindhu Character. However the climax had some cameo surprises, and the racy climax will some what confuses the audience.

Naga Chaitanya forms the Core of the Film, his action as a Teenage Guy,is pretty good, where he manages to grab several hearts with his smile.Where the Rebel Student Character also managed to get terrific response in the theaters. The Role is really a milestone for chaitu.

Anupama Parameshwaran as Suma is short and Sweet, while in real life, how girls uses their friends for meeting their BF s is presented in Good.

Shruti Hassan got some meaty role in the movie, unlike regular commercial dramas, she was seen wearing a Cotton Sari Always. However Please dont compare her to Sai Pallavi in the original, that may not allow you to experience the Magic.

Madonna Sebastian as Sindhu is really very good, she had a lot of grace in her face, that was a classy & bubbly look at the same time, that will grab many eyeballs on her.Performance wise also she is great, afterall it was the same role she played it in Original Right?

Victory Venkatesh in a cameo of DCP Ramachandra had kept the theater engaged with Whistles, cool and entertaining even it was just for few minutes.

King Nagrjuna with his beardy look is also a sweet surprise in the climax.

Chaitu’s friend circle are good, however no one Can guess, how A Hard Core enemy of Vicky can turn into a best friend of him after 10 Years.

Popular Lyricist Rama Jogaih Sastry had even a cameo in the movie.

Srinivasa Reddy’s Bird Story (పిట్ట కథ) is good, infact it was a satire on the dowry system.

Director “Chandoo Mondeti” had already proved his mettle with Nikhil’s “Karthikeya”,while “Premam” had nothing to fetch for him, after all it was just a replica of the original. However he had managed to change few scenes for Madonna Sebastian in Restaurent, and some climax bloopers, nothing much …

Music by Gopi Sunder,Rajesh Murugesan is really good,The feel in the songs and the BGM is really awesome.

DOP by Karthik Ghattamaneni is great in capturing the natural beauties of Kerala,”Evare” Song is awesome in his photography.

On a Whole,”Premam” was Every Individual’s Love Story, you will identify yourself in any of the 3 Phases of Vikram’s Life.If You are looking for some Cool,Awesome Love Story,Go For it.. Premam…With Love…
